Join  us July 12th 1pm-3pm as we kick off the Governor’s Gardens!  Enjoy interactive gardening activities and plant your own garden seeds to transplant into your own sustainable garden.  Walk the residence gardens and see what is in bloom.  Learn about recycling, upcycling and composting.  Enjoy beverages courtesy of Coca-Cola and take home a blueprint to build your very own sustainable garden!

Tea Under the Tree 2013

The Executive Residence Foundation hosted a Tea Under the Tree fundraiser in December of 2013.  Event goers enjoyed the Residence’s beautiful holiday decorations as well as a performance from the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra while raising proceeds for the Foundation.   View images from the event.

WERF events - Wine and Wickets

Wine and Wickets

The Executive Residence Foundation hosted the third annual Wine and Wickets in September of 2013.  Both batsman and bowlers did their best to show their cricket abilities.  Proceeds from this event helped the Foundation inch closer to their fundraising goal. View images from the event.

A Nod to the 1920’s

The Executive Residence Foundation hosted A Nod to the 1920’s in June of 2013.  The event benefited the Foundation’s initiative to bring the Residence  – the People’s home of Wisconsin – up to modern standards while preserving it’s historic charm, beauty and value.  View images from the event.

WERF events - An Evening with Chef Paul

An Evening With Chef Paul

WERF events are held throughout the year. On June 19th, WERF held its first ‘Evening with Chef Paul’, a series of dinner fundraisers benefitting the foundation. These interactive dinners feature delectable appetizers, wine and exquisite cuisine prepared in a theme of the host’s choosing. To complete their exciting evening, the group is also treated to fun interactive demonstrations where they have a hand in preparing parts of their meal alongside Chef Paul Shimon.  View images from the event.

The First Annual Garden Party

In June of 2015 the Wisconsin Executive Residence Foundation board hosted a Garden Party. Guests enjoyed a fashion show by Bruce Paul Goodman of Brookfield, WI as well as a First Ladies’ fashions through time exhibit courtesy of the Wisconsin Historical Society. Beautiful Lake Mendota served as the backdrop for this event benefitting the Wisconsin Executive Residence Foundation and its continued efforts to preserve and maintain the residence of the Governor of the State of Wisconsin.
