The Wisconsin Executive Residence, located in Madison, is a unique part of the historical heritage of the great state of Wisconsin.
The Executive Residence, also referred to as the "people's house," belongs to the people of Wisconsin and is home to Wisconsin's present first family, Governor Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers, who are proud to preserve its history and make it accessible to the public.
The Executive Residence is where official, ceremonial, and traditional events, such as receptions, dinners, and meetings are hosted, including docent-led public tours at certain times throughout the year. In a typical year, an estimated 20,000 visitors proudly pass through the doors to experience and build upon the rich cultural, artistic, and historic legacy of the Executive Residence.
