An estimated 20,000 visitors a year pass through the doors of the Residence for receptions, dinners, meetings, and public tours.
Docent-led tours of the Wisconsin Governor’s Residence are offered in the spring and summer. The guided tours will last approximately 20 to 30 minutes and will include a historical account of the rooms on the first floor of the Residence. Visitors will also have the opportunity to walk the grounds to view the stunning gardens and beautiful Lake Mendota.
The 2019 tour season begins Thursday, April 4, 2019 and concludes August 29, 2019. Tours are offered every Thursday from 1-3pm.
Self-led tours of the decorated Executive Residence are also offered during the holiday season and begin just after Thanksgiving. Dates for the 2019 season have been added click here for detailed tour dates.

The Executive Residence is located at 99 Cambridge Road on Madison’s northeast side of the Village of Maple Bluff. The Residence is accessible. Parking is available on the street.
Guided tours of the Executive Residence are a total volunteer effort. Our knowledgeable group of 30+ docents is extremely dedicated with many having volunteered under numerous administrations.
